Daddy was in a wheelchair for it all? On February 21,08; He underwent an aggressive knee scope leaving him handicapped for 12 weeks. Tater and I pushed his big butt EVERYWHERE! Our 1st day we went to Seaworld. We fed the dolphins, seals, and stingrays. We sat in the splash zone for the amazing show featuring Shamu- Believe, and the evening show Shamu Rocks. We took in the very funny Clyde and Seamore ...show and we all got to pet a real penguin on our behind the scenes tour of the polar expedition. We rode a thrilling rollercoaster that scared the !@#* out of Tater (on his 1st ride) and we ate dinner with the sharks! (Did I mention the Anheuser-Busch Hospitality Pavilion that served FREE Beer! +++) By far Seaworld was big Daddy's favorite park and we are all ready to visit again. On day 2 we went to Universal Studios. We all recommend you ride The Mummy! It was awesome! We also enjoyed Men in Black and Shrek 4-D and the Hulk just to name a few. For dinner we ventured out into Citywalk and dinned at Margaritaville- yum. After dinner we went into U/S Islands of Adventure and rode all the water rides. (Popeye's ...Barges, Ripsaw Falls were a blast and Jurassic Park had a so real feeling.) This worked out great because we didn't walk around wet all day and there were no lines; however, it was a little cool but well worth it! I highly recommend riding them last in the evening. On day 3 we went back to U/S Islands of Adventure. Our favorites for the day were the Spiderman and the Jurassic park Pteranodon Flyers just to name a few. That evening we traveled down to Tampa to Aunt Debbie & Uncle Gene's house. On day 4 Aunt Debbie, Tater and I went to Busch Gardens. (Don't feel sorry for B.D., Uncle Gene took good care of him. He made sure he was able to elevate his leg, watch what he wanted to on TV and even cooked lunch for him (homemade Cuban sandwiches-yummy)) Having Aunt Debbie along for Busch Gardens was a blast! She even road SheiKra (a rollercoaster) and the log-flume with Tater! (When you see him ask about SheiKra's first drop!) We also rode Rhino Rally and the Serengeti Railway and we were able to see all the amazing African animals up-close. It was truly breathtaking!(Lions and tigers and well no bears but plenty of giraffes, rhino and zebras OH MY! -just to name a few) On day 5 Uncle Gene accompanied Big Daddy, Tater and myself to the MLB spring training game played by the Cleveland Indians vs Tampa Bay Rays. We saw 3 out-of-the park homeruns and enjoyed Dairy Queen Icecream all from our seats behind homeplate. We even sat beside 2 other fans from Alabama and both attend the U of A - Roll Tide! Overall the trip was spectacular and we all had a blast. We definitely recommend all the parks and we ourselves will revisit them again. It's also worth mentioning that Tater was on his best behavior and he was a BIG help for his Daddy and me. I am so proud of him! Hey Tater - I cannot wait until we go to DISNEY!!!
About the pictures left to right, top to bottom: Seaworld's cameras from across the water captured Tater feeding the dolphins.($19.95) Once again their camera captured him scared to death on the rollercoaster Kraken.($19.95) Next you see him petting the penguin named Buddy. I really like the picture of Tater & Doc from Back to the Future. Followed by our family picture in Seuss Landing wearing our Thing 1, 2 & 3 shirts. That's Tater enjoying the Central Florida theme park delicatessen delight, a Roasted Turkey Leg. Yup that's Tater and me riding high above the ground with a dinosaur! Tater's got his arms up in the air on the log ride and that's Aunt Debbie ducking down behind him. That's the boys at the MLB game, Uncle Gene is beside Steve with the sunglasses on.
